Zeke Zeff

Born 1996, Philadelphia

I began taking pictures about three years ago, in my neighborhood and in the nearby woods. Since then, I've continued photographing the places I know as well as wherever I find myself, whether in the Adirondack Mountains or in Israel, where I studied for three months.

I concentrate on photographing natural scenes, landscapes, and wildlife, using natural light. The subject of such pictures is in part their location, and I hope that my photographs express something of the places in which I took them. I also try to portray the intersection between human and natural environments. In my wildlife photography, I try to show the animals and their environments as I see them, with dignity, in their own world.
